AUDITIONS TO BE HELD 31ST JANUARY 2012 - ALL WELCOME
We've finally decided that our spring show will be Alan Ayckbourn's "How The Other Half Loves", subject to licence approval. Auditions will start in the Jubilee Hall on Tuesday 31st January at 7.45pm - anyone is welcome to come along and have a go.
NEW CHAIRMAN TAKES OVER AT AGM
Our AGM was held on Tuesday, 24th January. David Woolford has taken back over from Nick Kearns as Chairman after a 3-year gap, during which time he's been off and had a successful double lung transplant! Sarah Hammond, Miriam Edmond and Jackie Nouwens also stood down and have been replaced by Barbara Kearns and Richard Aldous.
ANNUAL DINNER
The date has now been set for this year's annual dinner. It will be on Friday 9th March 2012, back at the Winchester Tennis and Squash Club, price £19.50 (three courses) or £15 (two courses). Miriam Edmond (01962-882767) is organising it - you need to book with her by 24th February.
NO EARLY MUSIC HALL RETURN
We had thought about bringing our recent Old Time Music Hall show back for a further weekend in the early spring of 2012. Regrettably we are not able to do this, and apologise to anyone who was unable to get a ticket to see the show in December. Hopefully Music Hall will return to our stage again in a couple of years and we will be able to accommodate everyone then.
