The Southern Daily Echo Curtain Call Awards

We were nominated for one award:-

Best Costumes
Shirley Lovell and Alison Woolford for the sumptuous costumes in Wyrd Sisters.

Sadly we did not win any of the awards, but we are very pleased to receive the recognition of the nominations.

2015

The Southern Daily Echo Curtain Call Awards

We were nominated for three awards:-

Best Supporting Actor in a Drama
David Woolford as Selwyn Piper in Murder by the Book

Best Performance in a Pantomime
Sarah Kesterson as Narrator in Aladdin

As with last year, a group of 10 attended the awards evening on Friday 29th January 2016, but we were not winners. We had a fun evening and were pleased to have been nominated.

2014

The Southern Daily Echo Curtain Call Awards

We were nominated for two awards:-

Best Newcomer
Eileen Bellamy as Minnie Brown in The Militants

Best Costumes
Shirley Lovell and Alison Woolford for The Militants

A group of 10 attended the awards evening on Friday 30th January 2015, sadly we did not win either of the awards, but we are pleased again to have been nominated and it was a great evening.

Mayor of Winchester's Community Award

We are honoured to have been nominated by Cllr Jane Rutter to receive this award. Five members of the group attended the awards evening at the Guildhall on 27th March 2014 to receive the award which was in recognition and grateful appreciation of service to the community.
